Super Powers: Spider-Man possesses the proportionate powers of a spider, granted to him from an irradiated Common House Spider (Achaearanea tepidariorum) which bit Peter Parker that was apparently already mutated from prior exposure to certain frequencies of radiation and received a final, lethal dose during Parker's attendance of the exhibition. The radioactive, complex mutagenic enzymes in the spider's blood that were transferred at the time of the bite triggered numerous body-wide mutagenic changes within Parker, granting him superhuman strength, stamina, durability, speed, agility, reflexes, and equilibrium; the ability to cause parts of his body to stick with great tenacity to most surfaces; a subconscious premonitional "danger" sense; organic webbing generation; a psychic alignment with the insects and spiders in his immediate environment; retractable, razor-sharp, venomous stingers; night vision; and the ability to sense vibrations transmitted from the hairs on his body or his webbing.
- Spider-Sense: Spider-Man possesses an extrasensory "danger" or "spider" sense which warns him of potential immediate danger by the manifestation of a tingling sensation in the back of his skull, and links with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him to evade most any injuries, unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes. The precise nature of this sense is unknown. It appears to be a simultaneous clairvoyant response to a wide variety of phenomena (everything from falling safes to speeding bullets to thrown punches), which has given several hundredths of a second warning, which is sufficient time for his reflexes to allow him to avoid injury. The sense also can create a general response on the order of several minutes: he cannot discern the nature of the threat by the sensation. He can, however, discern the severity of the danger by the strength of his response to it. Spider-Man's spider-sense is directional and can guide him to or away from hidden weapons and enemies. Sudden and extreme threats can cause his spider-sense to react with painful intensity. Spider-Man can also sense and dodge attacks directed randomly or by a computer. Using his spider-sense to time his enhanced reflexes, Spider-Man can casually dodge attacks up to and including automatic-weapons fire, provided there is sufficient distance. His spider-sense is sufficiently well-linked to his reflexes to the point that a threat can trigger them even when Spider-Man is asleep or stunned. His spider-sense has helped him preserve his secret identity since it alerts him to observers or cameras when changing into or out of his costume. The spider-sense does react to those who Peter does not consider to be a threat, such as Aunt May. Spider-Man can choose to ignore his spider-sense, and distraction or fatigue diminish its effectiveness. Spider-Man's fighting style incorporates the advantage that his "spider-sense" provides him. His body begins to produce more adrenaline after the sense is triggered, an extension of the 'fight or flight syndrome.'
- Superhuman Strength: Spider-Man possesses superhuman strength enabling him to lift approximately 10 tons. Spider-Man's physical strength is sufficient to lift and throw objects as heavy as most standard automobiles with ease. He must also pull his punches and kicks unless fighting someone of similar or greater physical durability. Otherwise, his blows would prove fatal to a normal human being. Spider-Man's physical strength also extends into his legs, enabling him to be able to jump to a height of several stories in a single bound.
- Superhuman Speed: Spider-Man can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete. He is ultimately capable of running at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour .
- Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Man's advanced musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than an ordinary human. This allows him to exert himself physically for much longer periods of time before fatigue begins to impair him. At his peak, Spider-Man can physically exert himself for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.
- Superhuman Durability: Spider-Man's body is physically tougher and more resistant to some types of injury than the body of a normal human. His body is more resistant to impact forces than anything else. He can withstand great impacts, such as falling from a height of several stories or being struck by a superhumanly strong opponent, that would severely injure or kill a normal human with little to no discomfort.
- Superhuman Agility: Spider-Man's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Spider-Man is extraordinarily limber and his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being's, despite their enhanced strength. He has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats. He can also perform any complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. He can easily match or top any Olympic record at gymnastics apparatus such as flying rings, climbing ropes, horizontal bars, trampolines.
- Superhuman Reflexes: Spider-Man's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are currently about 15 times greater than those of an ordinary human. In combination with his spider-sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge almost any attack, or even gunfire, if he is far enough away.
- Wall-Crawling: Spider-Man's exposure to the mutated spider venom induced a mutagenic, cerebellum-wide alteration of his engrams resulting in the ability to mentally control the flux of inter-atomic attraction (electrostatic force) between molecular boundary layers. This overcomes the outer electron shell's normal behavior of mutual repulsion with other outer electron shells and permits the tremendous potential for electron attraction to prevail. The mentally controlled sub-atomic particle responsible for this has yet to be identified. This ability to affect the attraction between surfaces is so far limited to Spider-Man's body (especially concentrated in his hands and feet) and another object, with an upper limit of several tons per finger. Limits to this ability seem to be psychosomatic, and the full nature of this ability has yet to be established.
Learned Abilities: Academically gifted, Peter displayed an uncanny affinity for science that was nothing short of genius. He is a brilliant individual, with exceptional skill as a scientist, an excellent inventor, and a very skilled photographer. Thanks to Peter's amazing superhuman physiology, acrobatic powers and spider sense, he is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, with a fighting style derived from his spider-like attributes.
Equipment:
- Webshooters: Spider-Man wears web-shooters which were twin devices worn on his wrists. The devices were able to shoot thin strands of a special "web fluid" at high pressure.
- Web Fluid: A shear-thinning liquid, virtually solid until a shearing force is applied to it, rendering it fluid, whose exact formula remains unknown, but is rumored to be related to nylon. On contact with air, the long-chain polymer knits and forms an extremely tough, flexible fiber with extraordinary adhesive properties. The web fluid’s adhesive quality diminishes rapidly with exposure to air. Where it does not make contact with air, such as the attachment disk of the web-shooter, it remains very adhesive. After approximately 2 hours, imbibed ether causes the solid form of the web fluid to dissolve into a powder. Because the fluid almost instantly melts from solid to liquid when under shear pressure, and is not adhesive in its anaerobic liquid/solid phase transition point, there is no clogging of the web-shooter’s parts.
Weaknesses (Must Have): Spider-Man is vulnerable to physical and mental attacks. He is also vulnerable to disease and weapons.
Background: As a kid Peter's parents died in a car accident, while he was over Harry's house for the night. When the police contacted May and Ben Parker they told them about what happened. Picking Peter up from Harry's Ben and May Peter aunt and uncle had to tell him the sad truth about what happened to his parents. Peter was devastated just as Ben and May was but they agreed to let him live with them. As Peter grew up he became more and more into science, and slowly he became extremely smart. When Peter first got into high school he wasn't really the cool type he had only a few friends, Harry Osborn and Mary Jane Watson who didn't see Peter as a geek. When Peter hit his 10th grade year he attended a field trip to Oscorp.
A company owned by Peter's best friend Harry's father. As the tour threw Oscorp started the tour woman started talking about the spiders it turned out one of the super spiders were missing that was injected with OZ a chemical that can be used to to make spiders...super. However unknown to the eyes of people the spider was actually making it's way down from the ceiling on a web line towards Peter's bare hand. As the tour continued the spider landed on Peter and bit him causing Peter to yelp and pass out. When Flash saw the spider he stepped on it killing it however Peter had to be rushed to the emergency room. When Peter's parents his Aunt May and Uncle Ben came to the hospital May was extremely worried however Ben knew the kid would come out fine which he did.
Once he regained consciousness he left the hospital and went home. When he got home he passed out on his bed and had weird dreams, when he woke up in the morning he felt good, better then ever he felt as if he could do back flips Aunt May and Uncle Ben were happy to see that he was better. When Peter left to go to school he was getting really to cross the street until a car sped down the road and towards Peter. At that exact moment, Peter felt a tingle in the the back of his skull. Parker didn't know what is was but when he turned around he watched as the car was riding towards him in slow motion like someone slowed time down. Without thinking Peter let his reflexes do the talking and for the first time Peter did a back flip over the car.
Landing behind it Peter was shocked at what just happened, but then like a rocket Superman flew past him and towards the car, the guys must have been robbers, Peter was so excited to see Superman he wanted to tell everyone but the real question was how did he pull off a back flip and what was the slow motion thing back there. When Peter went to school he found himself getting ready to be beaten up again by Flash Thompson and his buddies however when Flash tried to attack Peter from behind that tingle in the back of his skull happened again and once he turned around he watched as Flash swung towards him in slow motion, moving out of the way Flash tried more attempts to attack Peter but failed each time this caused a crowd to watch as Peter and Flash battled.
Peter smiled at the fact how he became so quick and once Flash tried to punch him once more Peter grabbed his fist and tossed him to the side causing him to smash into the lockers hard denting them. Everyone was shocked at what Peter did, even Peter was shocked. Running out of the school with a smile on Peter ran into a alley and took breaths in the alley proud of himself. When he placed his hands against the alleys walls he found that his fingers were stuck on it, when he pulled back he looked at his finger tips and noticed he had hairs growing from his fingers like...a spider. Placing both his hands on the wall Peter started climbing up the side of the building, reaching the top Peter smiled and the next thing he knew he found himself jumping from rooftop to rooftop.
He now realized he had super strength, speed, reflexes, wall crawling and the little buzzing thing in the back of his skull which the tour woman called spider sense. Returning home Peter went straight to his room and found himself more happy then ever. Luckily it was a Friday, this gave Peter the whole weekend to find out more about his powers, when Saturday hit Peter went out in a black ski mask and normal cloths on the leap around the city and learn out more about his powers and returned home at night the next day Peter did the same, when Monday came Peter went to school and right after school he did the same and more and more he wanted to become a superhero just like Superman the first hero he ever seen in person. And Peter continued until Friday after school where this time he was going to put his powers to the test he worked on his costume all week and thought of a name aswell.
However this time Uncle Ben stopped him and wanted to drive Peter to school. When Uncle Ben parked in front of Peter's destination which was the library Peter was about to leave until Ben stopped him. It turned out he found out about Peter's fight and began lecturing him telling him with great power, comes great responsibility. Peter snapped on Uncle Ben and this caused for the words your not my father come out of his mouth, Uncle Ben shook his head you could tell in his voice he was extremely upset and Peter sort of regretted his words. Instead of going to the library Peter crossed the street and went to a Wrestling area. Sighing up it was no Peter's turn to go up against the Bone Crusher. Getting in the ring Peter made sarcastic comments while he was battling and in only 40 seconds Peter took out Bone Crusher with a knock out and that's when he got his name...SPIDER-MAN.
After the fight Peter went home and threw out the week Peter continued to keep his distance away from Uncle Ben, and continue his wrestling career, every time he got payed he placed the money in the mail box of the Parker's so every time they opened the mail box they'd get money and a note from where it came from even though they didn't know the people. And more and more Peter became more cocky and more of the person he was not raised to be. During one of his matches Peter discovered he could fire webs and used it to his advantage, once he one the fight the guy who was suppose to pay Peter cheated him and it just so happened a robber was in the building and happened to steal from the same guy when the man ran past Peter, he let him go getting revenge on the guy who cheat him.
When Peter left to go home he found ambulance outside his home it turned out his Uncle Ben was killed by a mugger tears shed from both Peter and May's eyes but Peter wanted revenge. Hearing a police scanner saying where the guy was who killed Ben Peter left the house and put on his costume he was going to kill the man. Web slinging threw the city for the first time Spider-Man found where he was. When he got to the warehouse where the killer was Peter beat the crap out of him until he finally realized who it was, it was the guy who Peter let run past him earlier. Peter was about to kill him but knew Uncle Ben wouldn't want that instead he gave him over to the police and returned home. The last real conversation with Ben was With great power, Comes great responsibility Peter wanted to continue leaving by those words.
His wrestling career shortly ended and Peter needed some money it turned out the Bugle was looking for shots of Spider-Man so Peter took the opportunity and took shots of himself but it wasn't enough he needed shots of him fighting crime which he soon did when he became a hero and fought off street muggers, however when he hit his 11th grade year he was now battling the real deal Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Rhino, Kraven, Electro, Vulture, the Sinister Six, Shocker and all the rest of his villains he even went threw the Alien Costume but shortly defeated it where then he had to battle Venom. Peter was still young but it was without a doubt he could hold his own as long as he made it home early because if now Aunt May would be on his tail.
Personality: You can say there is almost a two sets of personalities between Spider-Man and Peter Parker. Peter Parker is a decent man, with a good heart. He is a really busy guy and pretty average, also very intelligent. He's good at figuring out things like fighting a new villain or one of his owns, he always seems to get out of traps he can be considered as a computer itself because of how smart he is. He's always into the books when needed. And is a type of guy that loves to get his work done both as Peter Parker and the Spectacular Spider-Man. When it comes to making hard choices no one can change his mind once he sets it to what HE think is the right thing to do.
As Spider-Man, he is still a decent, and good hearted person but just more of a smart ass. When he's fighting he'll make wise cracking remarks and half of the times always sarcastic. He does it half of the time to tick off his villains or mock them of any sort, or he may just do it because whatever they said was really dumb and he felt he needed to correct them with humor that would piss them off like Rhino for an example. He may seem like a immature person but he truly isn't. Sort of. Spider-Man can get real serious in certain situations. Like a real serious fight he wouldn't make those types of jokes.

Brief Sample Roleplay: ''You got the sh*t?''asked a man in a business suit as he walked in a alley holding a black suit case with three men standing before him with masks on. ''Yeah we got it''said one out of the three with a white suit case in his hand. ''Good let's do business then shall we?''asked the man as he walked forward as did one of the mask men once they were face to face the man in the business suit lifted up his suit case and opened it revealing alot of money. The masked man smiled and lifted up his suit case and opened it revealing alot of needles. ''Heh heh finally! I'll have powers!''said the man in the business suit as they both swapped suit cases.
''Heh! tell Kingpin I owe him a million for providing me with three years worth of MGH's''said the man in the business suit. ''You already did''the masked man said tapping the black suit case. ''MGH's huh?'' a voice said over all there heads as they looked up and there eyes landed on the one and only Spider-Man! ''Never was a fan of the MGH's you should try the FBCFB'' Spider-Man said as he leaped from the roof and shot two webs ones which connected to the black suit case and the other which connected to the white suit case. Yanking his web lines both suit cases went flying in the air.
''Which is short for the fist bones connected to the face bone'' Spider-Man said as he landed on the ground and uppercut the man in the black business suit. As the three masked men pulled out there guns. ''Spider-Man? so it is true, you are real we thought you were just a myth!'' said one of the masked guys as they all began firing there guns. Gasping Spider-Man began dodging the bullets letting his reflexes take over. Spider-Man has never faced this many bullets at one time but luckily he had his spider sense to back him up. ''Aw I'm crushed, I so need a lawyer this was not on the application. If I wanted to be a myth I would have sighed up to be the Hulk's therapist'' Spider-Man said sarcastically.
Firing three webs at the guns of the masked men Spider-Man yanked the weapons out of there hands. Somersaulting towards them Spider-Man kicked one in the face and followed that up with a uppercut to the jaw knocking two on the ground. Gulping the last one took steps back slowly. ''Oh don't worry pal I didn't forget about you'' Spider-Man said as he round house kicked the last one into the wall hard.
